Stay at “Riverview” our lake front lodge overlooking the Platte River Valley and Lake McConaughy. Riverview is a modern cabin
that can handle bookings for up to 6 hunters at any time. (Bookings are for a minimum of two hunters for two days.) Relax and
watch the game at night and enjoy home cooked dinner with all the comforts of home while at Riverview.

Owner, Larry Gilleland has over 40 years experience hunting both the Mississippi and Central flyways. Joining Riverview Hunts this year is Andrew Crom a Nebraska native who has lived and hunted the area his entire life.Andrew is an avid waterfowler and has the experience and personality to make your hunt a successful and memorable experience. You will hunt with a friend that happens to be a great waterfowl hunter, not a guide that can't wait till the day is over!
Even if you are a seasoned waterfowler, sometimes time doesn't allow you opportunity to put together your own hunt, let us take the work out of it for you. You will hunt from either our comfortable  Lowe 1648 equipped with an Avery boat blind, or from a completely thatched rig, both of which offer complete stealth.

Bring your retriever, or hunt with Drake our current “top staffer”. If you choose to bring your own dog,
please plan to accommodate your retriever, please have your own portable kennel, and food that we can place
in our garage (cover suggested for cold weather nights), as none of our retrievers are kennel kept nor allowed in the cabin.

We just finished an excellent "Duck Year", all our clients had successful hunts and brought home lots of ducks! Lake levels stabilized at elevations and good weather left us opportunity to hunt flooded timber into early December. The migration offered excellent shooting and substantial numbers up to the last hunt. We anticipate another banner year for 2011 as levels should be comparable through this year.
We recommend you get your hunt booked early as prime dates are filling up fast!

Select rates include food, lodging, guide, and equipment. For all hunts, you
will be required to provide your own personal gear (waders etc), firearms and ammo, Nebraska small game hunting license and
required stamps. You can pre-print all required permits and stamps by visiting the Nebraska Game and Parks web site. Please note that all hunters
must have hunter safety requirements met to obtain licenses. Please also note that all non-resident hunters, even those under 16,
in addition to hunter safety certificate, must purchase separate licenses and stamps. Food includes a hot breakfast, box lunch, and home cooked dinner each day.

We will meet you in Lewellen Nebraska (SW NEB. 3.5 hours from Denver) to show you to the lodge, or make arrangements for
rides from, and to Denver for $55.00 PER HUNTER.
